CHANIA OLD VENETIAN PORT
The Venetian harbor with its impressive lighthouse is the trademark of the city of Chania. Modern restaurants, cafés and bars add to the charm of the harbor, providing the necessary notes of life and familiar comfort throughout the year.
Gramvousa refers to two small uninhabited islands off the coast of north-western Crete in the regional unit of Chania. It is located 20km northwest of Kissamos, opposite the imposing Cape of Gramvousa and 2 miles northwest of the famous lagoon of Balos. Gramvousa is famous for its historical Venetian fortress, which still stands at a height of 137m over the beach. The fort had also been used by pirates.
