CHRISSI
Chrissi or Gaidouronisi, an island 7km long with a maximum width of 2 km, is located 8 nautical miles south of the most southern town in Europe, Ierapetra, Crete. It is a flat islet famous for its tropical turquoise waters that cover all the possible hues of blue and green, the protected forest with large cedar trees and the thousands of shells, mainly in the north, one of the distinguishing features of the island.
